TRAINING COURSES – INFESTALIA, THE ITALIAN SCHOOL OF PEST CONTROL
Infestalia is born after over 20 years of experience in teaching in the world of pest control.
The Infestalia school was created by applying the expertise gained over many years and putting into practice mechanisms that can help learners to acquire the concepts to bring home the best methods to work professionally, with quality and making the most of the new knowledge learned during the courses.
Those attending the courses at the Infestalia site will be able to appreciate modern and comfortable environments, destined to welcome and put at ease those who have decided to dedicate hours or days to highly undervalued part of every job: updating.
The large classrooms will welcome learners and the most modern technologies will be available to teachers to expose concepts and explore topics related to pest control.
Furthermore specific environments have been created such as the Entomological Laboratory and the Chemical Laboratory which will be of support to learn to recognize pests and to learn the peculiarities of chemical products.
The most interesting part, as far as practical involvement is concerned, are the settings that will help teachers and learners to live and better understand how to intervene in the most common environments (kitchen / bar, bedroom, library, food industry). To implement this idea, real environments have been reproduced within the school that will facilitate the learning of concepts, the study of pests, the methodologies of fight, the incorrect behaviors / to be avoided. The idea of these environments was suggested to us by the English friends of Killgerm. This large company, leader of the British market, has ahead of its time realizing the courses successfully for years. In their offices they set up some environments for practical applications. We liked the idea and we decided to put it into practice, too, with some changes of our own.
Why a school?
The environment in which we study certainly makes the difference: Infestalia has been designed to improve learning with the aid of microscopes, chemical and entomological laboratories, didactic classrooms and real reproductions of the most common environments to be treated.
